Robert Walters, Pharm.D., MBA is a clinical pharmacist who got tired of watching colleagues make the same expensive mistakes over and over again. After spending years fixing his own financial disasters (including that $35,000 Acura he's still not over), he decided someone needed to write the book he wished he'd had as a new grad.
Robert earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from Rutgers University and later got his MBA at SNHU because apparently one graduate degree wasn't enough punishment. He worked his way up from staff pharmacist to Senior Director of Acute Care and Oncology Infusion Pharmacy Services, which means he's seen the financial challenges pharmacists face at every career stage: from the new grad drowning in loans to the mid-career pharmacist wondering why they're still broke despite the promotions.
When he's not working or writing, he's probably buying way too many board games or explaining to his wife why they need another one. He lives in South Jersey with his family and a growing collection of unplayed strategy games.
